INSTALLATION & SPECIFICATION
WHERE CAN I PLACE MY HOT TUB?
When deciding on investing in a hot tub, consider the following factors:
OUTDOORS
  • Where is the closest electrical connection or do I require a new outlet to be installed?
  • How much privacy do I require
  • What area of the home will my spa best complete the surrounding. Not getting in the way of the layout
  • If there is not a reinforced deck or a concrete slab. How big do I need to make it to fit the spa desired?
  • Is the existing area reasonably leveled where water would no gather during rainfall?
  • If being placed on a concrete surface be sure the slab is at least 4 thick and tested to hold 100 lbs./square foot
  • Do not place on sand, gravel, grass or stone work because they have tendency to shift over time.
  • There are alternatives to pouring concrete slabs or building a deck. It still requires for you to compact the soil and level it before laying the portable slab. For further details please contact us ask to speak to sales representative.
  • The electrical connect is recommend to be at least 5 feet from the spa and protected from waterproofed to prevent from electrical shortages
  • When placed outside be sure the protective cover is good working order and the seal has not been compromised.
INDOORS
  • Typically when indoors, the spas are placed on screened porch or sun rooms.
  • Good ventilation is recommended with fans and windows.
  • Avoid placing it over carpet unless the carpet is designed for water exposure.
  • Surface must be flat and leveled, capable of holding 100 lbs/square foot.
  • The electrical connect is recommend to be at least 5 feet from the spa and protected from waterproofed to prevent from electrical shortages
WHAT ELECTRICAL VOLTAGE OUTLET IS REQUIRED?
Typically all hot tubs require a 220V 50Amp with a G.F.C.I breaker. A certified electrician is recommended to covert your electrical outlet to meet the requirements of the spa. For more detailed information on the installation, a PDF file is available for download or viewing on our website under the warranty category.
WHAT WILL EXPECT TO PAY TO OPERATE THE HOT TUB?
Depending on how large and how well the spa is insulated, on average about only a dollar a day. Prices will vary based on the demand charge of your electrical provider. Many tubs come with an energy saver mode to save you even more, and being green at the same time. When the spa is not in use, it is recommended that temperature be kept at 96 to 100 F. When using your spa you may increase the temperature gradually for more invigorating hydro therapy. If raised above 104 F it is advised that you do not stay in there for more than 10 to 15 intervals. Allow for the body to cool down to prevent dizziness or fainting. If you are pregnant, had surgery or have a Medical condition like high or low blood pressure, please consult your physician before using a hot tub. Be sure to bathe with others for your safety and do not leave children unattended. No alcohol should be consumed before or while in a hot tub.
MAINTAINANCE & CARE
WHEN FILLING THE TUB DO WE HAVE TO US FILTERED WATER?
When filling the tub, regular water (hard water) can be used. Feed the water in through the filter housing of the hot tub which will filter the impurities of the water. The spas are wet tested to ensure all pipes are clean and working efficiently. Little remains like plastic or dried glue may present it self when turned on for the first time. Remove debris with netted scooper or a hot tub vacuum.
HOW OFTEN SHOULD WE CHANGE THE FILTER & WATER?
FILTER

Filters do not have to be changed that often but recommend they be cleaned every 2 weeks or more, depending on use. The filters are best cleaned using our Cartridge Cleaner and left to soak overnight. After cleaning the filters, simply rinsed with a garden hose before re-fitting. Typically filter should be replaced out every 6 to 8 months.
WATER

If the spa is utilized frequently we recommend the water be changed ever 2 to 4 months. If the water looks murky, has bubbles along the edges or lack that clear and fresh appearance, most like the water needs to be changed. Shocking the spa will not suffice; the chemicals will lack the ability to sanitize the water. It is vital to maintain your spa with proper chemical treatment, tub & pipe cleaning, filter and water change to avoid the pipes from being coated with particles, bio-film, oils and other deposits which may affect the performance and lead to costly maintenance or time consuming efforts.
SPA LITERS / AVERAGE # OF 20 min. BATHING SESSIONS PER DAY = DAYS BETWEEN DRAINING AND REFILLING TIPS:
  • APPLY JET CLEANER BFORE EVERY FLUSH TO CLEAN THE PLUMBING
  • ONCE EMPTIED CLEAN THE WALLS OF THE TUB WITH NON ABRASSIVE PAD AND RECOMMENDED SOLUTION. DO NOT USE HOUSEHOLD CLEANERS
  • THOROUGHLY CLEAN YOUR FILTER AT EVERY WATER CHANGE
  • ONCE REFILLED WITH FRESH WATER TEST AND BALANCE WATER ph
  • APPLY SHOCK
  • REAPPLY SANITIZER
  • CLEAN YOUR COVER EVERY WATER CHANGE AND CONSIDER APPLYING U.V PROTECTANT SPRAY TO KEEP THE COLOR AND LIFE OR THE COVER
